We’ve recently had a lot of questions come up about our bite suits and all of the options that you have when getting your suit made. Here is a list of the top features and options you have and what we typically add to bite suits for our customers.
Rush vs Standard Delivery – Rush delivery speeds up the suit delivery time considerably. The standard delivery time for a bite suit is 12-14 weeks, 3 – 3 1/2 months. Rush delivery puts your suit in your hands in 4-6 weeks. It is well worth the extra $125 in our opinion to get your suit here faster, so you can start training with the best bite suit you’ll ever have!
Custom Designs – Your suit design can be as unique as you’d like it to be. We offer a multitude of pre-designed patterns to choose from. No, you can’t do a camouflage pattern, and if your design is exceptionally crazy there will be an up-charge for it. We will design a bite suit for you if you give us some guidance at no charge. You also have the ability to download our template and you can design your own bite suit!
Extra Reinforcements – You can add additional reinforcements to your bite suit for no additional charge. The areas that can be reinforced are; the biceps, the triceps, the calves and hamstrings. Note that reinforcing the biceps and triceps together may limit your mobility in the suit. Just be sure to tell us in the order comments when you place your order!
Logos & Lettering – Logos can be added to any suit. However, since each suit is made by hand, and not embroidered there is an additional charge for logos to be added to the suit. The same goes for the lettering on a suit. If your letters exceed 8 characters there is an additional charge as well.
Bib – You can also add on a bib to the front of the pants. This is additional bite suit material that offers more protection over your stomach. I highly recommend this addition if you do a lot of bite sleeve work or leg work without a jacket on.
Colors – The bite suit fabric only comes in a few colors. These colors are show and listed below. Pink and Camo will be available colors soon!
Tapered/Straight Ankle – All of the bite suits have a tapered ankle or a straight cut ankle. The tapered ankle is when the bottom of the pants are tapered which brings pants closer to your leg/ankle. The straight ankle option is a straight cut ankle that allows you to keep your shoes on while suiting up. Unless specified all orders will come with the tapered ankle.
Repairs – Yes, you can repair a bite suit! We offer sew-on repairs that will cover any bite suit holes or excessive damage. We will get your suit measurements and send you bite suit fabric that you will need to have sewn on over the damaged area. Please contact us about bite suit repairs.
If you have any questions about the things we can do on your suit don’t hesitate to give us a call or shoot us an email. We are more than happy to help you get the absolute perfect bite suit for your needs!
